Good news that, Andy has a poor record against Berdych.

So Simon/Melzer in the 4th round and Tipsarevic/Dimitrov in the Quarters if Murray can get there. Draws opened up a little.

Can't watch tennis atm, family meal etc -keeping up on here and disappointed Andy won't be playing tonight. Perhaps when he does play I can watch him in peace.

Simone still playing but looks a bit stiff, Melzer now leading 2- 0 in second set. Glad Berdych is out he has always been Andy's boggy man though he beat him last time. Cannot see Simon going the full course is having lots of problems with his back.

Truth be told I think I would prefer Simon to get through, even though he is the higher ranked man. Just think he doesn't really have anything to damage Murray (in-fact if anything he is just a poor-man's Andy Murray). Whereas Melzer is a different sort of player, won Memphis the other week and is also a leftie.

Not sure what Andy's H2H's are against either player though. I imagine it's pretty damn one-sided against Simon, not sure on Melzer.

Back on serve in the second set there btw, Simon leads 7-6, 3-3.

Andy will now play Gilles Simon after he defeated Jurgen Meltzer 7-6, 6-4. Let's hope his back holds out, as we wouldn't want another walk over !!!
