Still not changed - here's where my starting point would have been lol
Nice photos there Bev. The guy is full of passion  ... and full on animation. A little  flowers to Gilles from me, he's such a sweetie.

Suprise, suprise Florian Mayer beat John Isner, 6-4 6-2.
Wonder what happened to Big John, he's been doing so well recently.

Bit of fatigue after his run to the Indian Wells final maybe.

He's had a fairly poor start to the season actually (until last week anyway), the win against Federer in the Davis Cup the only performance of note until his great run and match against Djokovic at Indian Wells.

Interesting that Andy weights 15kg more than Gilles. That's a lot of extra muscle. Extra power. Gilles does look a bit of a light-weight.

Gilles is a real cutie. wub

Thanks for the video.  Wasn't that the match where Gilles suffered a leg injury, which is why he got bageled in the decider by Murray the Merciless? Think

Even if Simon pulls out - Andy's still got a quarter to go before the semi.   I agree though - it would be much better for Andy to play.
Ooops!  Seem to have a got round ahead of myself.  Maybe wishful thinking! Very Happy

Andy on facebook : Back home and getting a massage from my physio who's asked the question 'If I had tennis lessons from an early age, would I have been any good?" Will put him down gently.   Very Happy   lmao  Andy is such a funny guy
lol  Love that.  I think Andy and his team have a lot of fun together.  Luckily Lendl too has a great sense of humour.

It's too early, Ruthie.  I doubt we'll know until the wee small hours.

I like Giles too and agree he looks just like he's come from playing in the park?  He doesn't have the same energy as Andy ( at his best) and doesn't look too fit/strong to me.   I can't see him getting the strength to beat Andy, but very much looking forward to watching,  hope it won't be a really late night match.

Don't be deceived Psmannie. Smile   Gilles isn't quite as fragile as he looks!  I'm expecting a good match here, and just hope that Gilles has got over the worst of his back problem.

Thanks Mackem.  But as play starts at 4 pm BST, then Andy won't be on before 8 pm.

Do you think it will be that late? I agree not before about 7pm, but 8?

Depends as always on the matches before it.  As the OOP isn't out yet on the website I don't know who's playing before Andy, but I agree 8 pm could be a little late.

I expect at least one bagel from Andy as a way of personal apology to me for Indian Wells cmon yeah

I do like Giles but when push comes to shove Andy needs a good showing here to get him up to speed for the rest of the week.
