This will be simple for Andy.
I sure hope so, but that sentence would send a shiver down any fan's spine!  Never mind. I'm enjoying  a bit of schadenfreude about Fedfraud being rolled at the moment, so that's a compensation.

You're obviously not used to Robbie - he likes to make a play on words in every single post. Some people find it funny.

Great news about ARod beating Fed! He's been very unlucky this year with injuries and really deserves this victory. Pleased that Fed can't increase the rankings gap over Andy any more this week too. Smile

Thanks.  That makes my prediction of 8 pm the more likely.  Can't see either of those being quick matches, unless Tipsy blows Dimitrov off the court.  And I'd say Almagro/Fish has the potential to go to 3 sets, which would push Andy's match back even later

Delighted for Roddick, this is his last appearance in Miami apparently? Great way to go out, getting a rare win over Federer and stopping the most in-form player on tour at the moment. Getting fed up with Federer beating everyone. About time someone humbled him.

Just read the big news story of today! I bet Fed is licking his wounds, having been beaten by 'ol Roddy, in the sunset of his career.
I wouldnt have put money on that happening at all. Just think Andy lost the 2nd set 1 - 6, it must have seemed like Fed had  set things up to take the 3rd dead easy.
 yay highfive
Thank you Andy Roddick!

He was the most inform player because he was the most cunning.
By focussing on the end of year indoor tournaments and running all the way with it he benefitted from his closest rivals either being injured or rusty. Still you've got to admire how well he has took his chances since last November. But his luck was always going to run out sooner or later. Lets hope Andy can now win this tournament and really make inroads to his deficit with Federer.
And then its on to number 2  Whistle

Thank you Andy Roddick!
In all fairness to Fed he played sublime tennis in that 2nd set.  The 3rd really was a nail-biter, but what interested me - and the comms remarked on it - was how quickly he let a resurgent Roddick get under his skin.  Fed doesn't normally let his feelings show but by the fifth game he was beginning to look distinctly angry - that pesky man on the other side of the net would just not go away!  But Roddick just kept on obstinately hanging in there.  Really, really chuffed for him.  First time he's beaten Fed since the same tournament in 2008. Smile
