Andy is a class ahead of Berdick and needs to stamp his authority on the match straight away.
That's what he did the last time he played him I believe & it worked very well. I think it is going to be a good day for Andy and he might do it in 2, but I'll give him 3 in case. |

Who was that imposter Andy look-a-like? The real one had better turn up tomorrow.. with his 1st serve too. 45% ain't going to cut it against Berdych.
I watched Nishi play the Ber'ch like a spicy kid facing up to the school bully. He nearly pulled it off too... too bad.
Nole/Dolgo... I was genuinely emotional for Nole today.. looked like the Dog was going to walk away with this one, but Nole dug deep and deserved the win.
I fast-forwarded the Tsonga and Nadal matches... no surprises.
I can't believe the incredible difference between the Andy of today and the Andy of 2 days ago. For sure Benneateau had more variety in his game compared to Troicki... but where was Andy's movement, drop-shots and aggression?.. And for the love of gawd where has his serve gone?
We can say it's the early match.. or the clay was too damp... or it's windy... whatever.... but at the end of the day it's between Andy's ears.
If he can play a brilliant point with a broken string... and Nole can dig deep on the day of the grandfather's death, then surely Andy can do better than what he produced today.
Yes... I'm disappointed and frankly expect better.
I'm looking for a Ber'ch slap tomorrow.
