Drat, was hoping for a Nishikori match. Andy will have to play better than today. Dropping from 80 odd percent (against Troiki) to 40 odd percent first serves in is not a good sign. As someone on twitter (I think, maybe it was on another thread here) pointed out 3 out of 7 of Andy's last matches have resulted in his opponent retiring. I could do without the stress of a Berdych match to be honest. So you know.....

Love the pics. Very Happy   Hope the fired-up Andy comes on court and wins, and not the scary-looking Berdych, but he will have to reproduce Tuesday's form, or something very close to it.  If the match is later on in the day I think that'll benefit him because there should be a bigger and livelier crowd and also he might be more wide awake!

Come on Andy you need to do this – Berdick is such a smug git.  Andy needs to play like he did against Troicki and take Berdick’s time away from him.  Andy is a class ahead of Berdick and needs to stamp his authority on the match straight away.

He really is quite disliked on the tour and his reaction at the AO after that match with Almagro was totally uncalled for and very unsporting, adding to the disdain that people already held for him.  So glad to support a true gentleman of the sport, thought Andy’s actions today after Bennateu’s fall were spot on -  wanting to check what was the most polite thing he could do in the circumstances. 

Come on the Muzz – remember Dubai, you beat him there you can do it again.  Good Luck Andy

p.s. sounds like A&J played really well in the dubs and were unlucky.

Andy will double bagel him Smile  Berdych isn't playing well he  lost a lot of early round matches this year   Berdych  lost in the first round at FO last year  remember!!

Couldn't agree more MM - Berdych is almost as smug as Fed and not nearly as good a tennis player.  C'mon Andy - all guns blazing tomorrow!
