Is that MC time or British? I want to watch this match to see how Andy is on clay.

If andys on last then a 10-30 start maybe Andy on about 4-30 our time? Are they an hour ahead of UK?
Yes Angie.  A bit difficult to call this one - there's a lot to be said for having afternoon and evening sessions - but I'd estimate 4 pm BST for this match, although as usual it's up to folk to check how earlier matches are progressing either on here or on the tournie website.

Yeah I was banking on bout 4 ish Aileen, if I can get home sharpish might just miss first couple of games, then hopefully see it out before I have tennis to go to myself at 6-30.

Not even 1:30 BST unless they're all double bagels!  The only question mark is Djokovic.  Is he going to decide a few games in that his ankle isn't up to it after all and retire?  There's a difference from practising and actually playing, especially given the way he punishes his ankles at the best of times.

You took words right out my mouth - was thinking exactly that abut Djokovic - he still may not even start, so Andy could be on even earlier. I'll be atwork anyway tho may try and record it.

Well Djoko is 3rd on, so not much warning if he suddenly decides not to play (which I don't think he will) or retires pretty quickly, especially if he's losing Whistle  If I was recording it I'd go for an earlier time just in case.

Think I just need to hit record for start of programme and leave it running anyway regardless of when he plays, my record facility doesnt have a timer. So should be ok.  Fingers crossed Pretty sure djokovic will play at least one round after waiting this long.

Flashscores start by allowing 1hr 20mins per match, then usually adjust as the day goes on. That's how they've got the 1.30 start.

Today's matches were all pretty short -   about 1 hr 30, plus changeover/warm up time. 4th match started at 3.10 (UK time)

Hope to be back in time to watch, so long as somebody's funeral doesn't completely muck up my journey to/from work tomorrow...

I think you might be a bit out of luck with this tournament unfortunately because the matches start very early and are usually finished by evening.  It seem the Monte Carlians don't want to be watching tennis much beyond late afternoon.

Oh heck - I'd forgoten about THAT funeral ... I'm so interested, not. Rolling Eyes

Maybe I should change the estimate to 3:30 to be on the safe side.  Better for people to twiddle their thumbs waiting than miss the first few games.

Looks like I am going to miss it too. By the time I get home, I will be all over. But as long as Andy wins.

Rome has some evening night sessions right?

Otherwise I may not see Andy all CC season unless he makes the Saturday in all his events (I am hopeful he will make a couple at least Smile)
