Andy is 10-1 ON with Skybet to win tomorrows match
Ive just watched Andy V Joker in Rome semi last year and Andy v Rafa in last years Monaco semis. My conclusion - Andy is a genius on clay. Andy has learned how to play on clay and I honestly think he is as good on clay now as he is on grass on hard courts. Im backing Andy to win the French Open this year.
Brave but I hope accurate.

I wasn't actually that fussed last year when it looked like he would lose to Troicki. I think after the injury I didn't expect him to get that far anyway and I knew it wasn't like he'd beat Nadal in a five-setter on clay so the difference between the QF and SF wasn't that big a deal. Obviously was delighted at the comeback though, great strength of character (also helped by Troicki's inability to see it out).
A lot more confident this year after his improvements and Nadal's seeming poor form (well, poorer than last year at least). I desperately want Andy to have another chance against Djokovic or Nadal on this surface to really see if he has improved. But got to get through these early rounds first and the likes of Troicki and Melzer are no lightweights on this surface. Berdych will be the real test, if Andy can get to the QFs.

Center Court 10:30 a.m. Llodra vs Fognini then Andy Murray vs Troicki
This listed on ATP/WTA livescores
Seems like Andy hasn't played in ages....hope it isn't like that for Andy.

I thought there would be a messages to Andy thread. At any rate, Good luck Andy in this first clay match, go out there with racquets firing aces and great returns.

As Colin has just informed me Europe are an hour ahead of BST, not behind. Brain-fart. Have amended the OP. 11:30am ish, BST. Apologies for the cock up.

I selfishly hope Andy has a great clay court season, as I only seem to watch tournaments he is still in these days, apart from the odd match. Also, I can't help remembering how during the clay season last year he played his way into form, to the point where he was hitting the ball the best I'd ever seen him! Good Luck tomorrow Andy, and eh, good luck with the GI Jane look, too!

I'd prefer Andy to have played his doubles first just to get into the groove. Troicki's a tricky opponent. Bit surprised to see he's playing today anyway as the schedule said Wednesday for R2 matches. However, have rearranged my own schedule so's I can watch this match. Just so long as Andy comes out all guns blazing ...

How do you discover what time Murray is playing today? The APT site is still showing Monday's schedule.

I too thought he would play his singles tomorrow as it said the 2nd round matches would start on Wednesday.

The new schedule is up on the Monte Carlo site, he's second on the main court (first match starts at 930 BST). I'm nervous about today's match. Andy often finds it difficult in his first match, and here he's adjusting to a new surface too. Hope he can repeat his clay form from last year's MC tournament - that was brilliant to watch.
