The plot thickens, like a beef stock cube, with not enough water added.

Murray pointed to the sky after winning his match today. Quite a lot of sportsmen do it, especially the Catholics, to thank God for their win.

I'm pretty sure Murray has done that many times before. And as you quite rightly say, doesn't have to do with God.

Most sports figures tend to believe in something. Michael Chang even thanked God after a match one time. Unless religious belief makes you a terrible person, I don’t see anything wrong with it. Andy’s struggled so much so far so who knows really if he’s trying something new out there. I wouldn’t read too much into it unless it’s consistent.

I'm sure this was a but different, although it doesn't really matter.

WTF this thread???????????
Andy pointed one finger to the sky and it was interpreted as 1 match down and 6 to go.
Think that is the logical conclusion.

Calm yer breeks, I was facetiously bumping it to mock all the people on here who did take it seriously.

I don't think it is religious or it means 1 down 6 to go, he does it after any important win!!
My best guess is it's an alternative to a fist pump... he shakes his finger when he points it, perhaps to mean look what I just done.
