Jonas bjorkman will also be pretty confident after winning the doubles title at the weekend with Mac but I think Andy will pull through that one.

Yeah your right he will be confident but I dont think he has played many single matches this year which will give Andy the better advantage going into the match.

murrays next opponent...

"Second seed Nicolas Kiefer withdrew from the tournament Wednesday with a sinusitis. He has been replaced in the main draw by South African lucky loser Rik de Voest, who will now play Jonas Bjorkman last match on Grandstand Wednesday"

very good odd now and i agree that since j.b. is a doubles specialist andy will have a superb chance to advance to the QF

I think he will struggle to win again but its a relatively easy route to the final. Who knows what can happen?

I know we mustn't get ahead of ourselves vut Andy has to be one of the favourites for the title.  He should easily beat De Voest then he has Carlsen or Soderling, who he's beaten before.  In semis he could face Malisse, whom he was in a great position against in Mons but got injured, then Roddick again goodjob

I don't like the look of this. Almost too easy. Think Andy might slip up in 2nd round or quarters. But obviously I hope not!

Andy has learnt his lesson Vs Scuettler so he will win this one.

most likely result is for andy to make another final appearance and then drop out of the tennis channel open... i get the feeling that is a tournament he may never play in his career
