Del Potro wins the USO beating Nadal and Federer to do it. His first slam final and he wins it by beating the 5 time consecutive champion and he's 21 in 2 weeks. Murray by comparision disgraced himself in his first slam final and has not looked close to winning one since.

You're a bit slow, Fuzzy, I pointed this out in the other thread. Murray's useless, end of story. He'll win the Shanghai Masters and the press will proclaim him the next winner of a Slam. As if.

It can't be denied. He's the anomaly in the top 6 now and I hope he's ashamed. He won't be though, too busy playing tennis football and twittering about the latest forfeit that Ross Hutchins had to do, while Del Potro begins his Slam collection.
'He was hitting it too hard, there's not a lot you can do when the other guy is doing that.' Repeat ad nauseum.

The public forfiets and lame private joke Twittering has to stop, it's making him look bad and unfocused. But Murray should NOT be ashamed of himself, he wants to win a Slam badly he just hasn't figured out how to do it yet. He's got his fitness now but that hasn't worked, he now needs the tactics and a change of game style.

To say someone "disgraced" himself because he lost a tennis match is way OTT surely. Perhaps he has reached his peak and levelled out - that's not a disgrace. Just because his fans want him to perform in a certain way, does not mean that he is capable of it .....

Agree with that, just because there might be better talent out there doesn't mean we should rip Murray apart... I'm sure Murray wants a Slam just as much as the rest but just isn't capable right now.

Wait!! Couple of years back Andy was a masterful tactician without stamina, so he gets pumped up....Now he's too pumped to play smart tennis????? What are you dudes....and dudettes...talking about here?
Face it man!!! Andy is an average tennis player with occasionally good moves...that does not make him great!! He's making good money doing what he does, he won't change, maybe can't.......
