Loved that article especially 'he looks like someone who has wandered into the game off the public court'. Brilliant.

"Murray has...exhibited the sort of raw combativeness and slightly bolshie demeanour on court that if replicated in the high street might land him with an Asbo."

is it me, or are they getting a little bit obsessed with this??!!

"Murray affirms the strength of his affection for his mother, who has been the force behind his tennis career, by having the odd dig."
roflmao
" Asked if she approved of his haircut - she is known not to like the shaggy look - he said: 'Naah, my hair's definitely better than hers.'
roflmao
"He was critical, too, of his mother's 'pretty bad choice of clothes, which she buys for me but I never wear'. (He is comfortable only in casual wear,"
roflmao
As he delivered each of his mildly defamatory remarks about his mother, he swung round to look at her, checking that he had not overstepped the mark. Her smile told him he was OK.
all hail queen judy!! Very Happy

Yeah, I think if Judy had thought Andy had stepped over the mark she would have given him a clip round the ear. lol

But its a bit unfair that andy has to act all grown up and when he does show a bit of teenager he get slated. Give him a breack hes only 18.

But he is without a doubt the best british player i have seen 4 a while !!!!!1

Fantastic article!! And Laura has definitly picked out the BEST bits! Yes, all praise goes to Judy! WHAT a mother she is.. and they make such a hilarious lot when talked about in the paper!  Very Happy
Andy should be chuffed at having such a mom (yea yea she sings but don't they all!)  wink and JUdy should be soo proud of her boy!  Very Happy

I love it how they say the "revolutionary undertones" of Andy... he's really made an impact. it seems!  w00t
