Hi Mark, hello everyone....
Yes, yes, I am v. bad at noughts and crosses. In my defence, I was filming, and playing left handed. Not ideal, but i'm probably very lacking on that side of my brain. Thick basically....
In terms of the footage, I shoot on Mini DV (pretty damn good res) then edit in iMovie (amazing package IMO) before converting. I do this following a pretty good tutorial on youtube itself.
Now, this works fine for many vids, although I noticed that it really struggled to cope with the water in the hydrotherapy video. Too much info for it at that res most likely. But if anyone watched that tutorial and knows a way of getting better res, that'd be great.
The most annoying thing for me at the moment is that I have a great film from DC with some cool footage, and the film is just to big. It's less than 9 mins long, but because I've dropped in a ton of audio fades etc etc, it comes out at way of 100MB. I'm now trying to figure a way of chopping it into 3 chunks, again in Imovie. Any hints/tips happily received....
Catch you all later.
