Amy and I stood and watched this practice session! I was in watching Isner/Youzhny when Miles was strutting his stuff but Amy has some video of this! |

I didn't. I was stuck in a monumental tie-break. Amy did. She kept texting saying, get here, this is hilarious. But I was stuck. 11-9 or something the TB ended. There was a big crowd. They loved the tennis football.
In fact Andy had a good giggle with one of the guys about the fact that loads of people left when he pulled his raquet out cause they preferred to watch the football. I have to tell you, there's some skill involved and they're all pretty competative. Andy totally ribs them when they miss easy keepy-ups or headers or whatever.
It was nice to watch him practice actually. He was so much more endeering.

That was quite a revealing interview. It is good to hear Andy relaxing off the court, away from tennis to stay fresh and hungry.
The bit at the end with Miles showing off his biceps was quite an eye opener.

There was about 30 people watching I reckon. I stood there for nearly two hours watching him practice. I only caught it by luck. Lorna went into a court watching some tennis and I was sat on a bench drinking my beer (at noonish  ) and a golf buggy went right past me like two feet away and I saw Andy on the back and I just kinda followed  Yeah Andy was so chilled and having a laugh and it was nice to see this side of him because when we watched him play the day after he was so different because he was in the mind set of a match. |
