Everyone wants a piece of Andy now.. and he hasn't even started with the UK media. His and Kim's life will never be the same now.
Don't you love all the attention he's getting though?  He so deserves it for all the crap he's had to put up with when he wasn't winning.

^Yeah Apollo. It's been a long time coming for him to finally get some love from the media.
Not sure how much Andy's enjoying it tho'. He's never really been one for the limelight.

Hope he's getting some good rest, and he & Kim are having lots of (private, quiet) walks with the doggies.

Is that what the kids are calling it these days?

Andy arriving home:

Poor guy, after a 7 hour flight, shooting questions out about being #1, let him just enjoy what he just won.

I'm sure someone's posted that link too - maybe Clydey dontknow

Stupid question - who is Charlie Rose?

Yep, here you go

Charlie Rose is an excellent interviewer.  He has done all the great athletes and others as well.  You can go to his website and see all the interviews he has done.  He does his homework before interviewing someone and looks and acts genuinely interested in the person.  I think he brought out good things from Andy.

This is the full final:

Will probably get taken down though.

Although I had the build up stuff on, I didn't see the prematch interviews, mainly because I hate them. However, watching again now, didn't Djokovic look nervous? I know after Andy said he was nervous, but Djokovic really looked it.

I was disappointed he wasn't coming to Glasgow but he does need some time away from everything to settle back to a routine.  Hopefully he will make an appearance at Dunblane Primary even it is a response to their video to Andy.
Re my earlier post yesterday @ 01:47 am, it would seem Andy is now rested enough to be able to go for a walkabout in Dunblane on Sunday.  Details are on other threads, but here's the link anyway - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-19603046

Yes I noticed that. Despite Andy saying he was nervous he definitely didn't look it in the interview, and from the way that Djokovic started the match it looks like the nerves affected him at the beginning. He really doesn't feel comfortable playing Andy I don't think.

I didn't think Djokovic looked too comfortable either, but he was reportedly unhappy with the conditions (cold and windy).  Well Andy was having the same problem and coped OK, but the wind was nowhere near as strong as it was during the Berdych match.  Also I think Djokovic has been quite nervous a lot this year.  He's had one heck of a high standard to try to live up to and, apart from the AO, has largely failed so far.

How great the wonderful reception Andy got in his hometown.  Actually I think he would get a great reception in the States as well.  I love all the children's response.

Here is a slideshow, hopefully it comes out that way.
