Bit of a mystery here since Andy has been quoted as saying “ I have played Dimitrov before. He’s a young guy trying to make a breakthrough. He’s playing his best this year." Trouble is nobody can find out where or when this happened! One suggestion is that it could have been in a doubles match. Dimitrov was coached in his late teens by Peter Lundgren who's on record as saying "he is better than Federer was at his age", and indeed Dimitrov has modelled his game on that of Federer and uses that rarity these days, a one-handed backhand He's reckoned to be one of the most promising young players and this year at Wimbledon pushed Tsonga to the limit in a four-set thriller. I think this could be an entertaining match, so, Andy - shake off the last of your jetlag and go!!  |

Is there a link to the audio? If just a transcript, most probably it's a misquote and maybe he said 'haven't' rather than 'have'. If so, not really a mystery. |

Dimitrov is a real talent on his game, seems to be very inconsistent though and hopefully today will be one of his poorer days! I'll go for Andy to win 7-6, 6-4. |
