Sampras used to talk about the British-Canadian Davis Cup team. It was kind of hard on Greg - he saw pound signs in his eyes back in 1995 at the prospect of being British number one. Then along came our only world-class player in 60 years.

Barry Cowan was another great waste of talent remenber when he took sampras to 5 sets that got every one talkin. strangly enough he retired after that to be a wooden commentator.
