A senior moment ...! However, if you catch up with this, you might find Sven's video introduction of himself - Life as a Profession Tennis Coach - recorded in 2009, of general interest. See previous page.

Thanx Aileen and Sir Pands, will look him up, as serve is Cahill's specialty, hope forehand is Sven's

Am I not correct in recalling that Groenefeld was an almost 100% presence as part of Andy's support area at Wimbledon?

The Bleacher Report states that Andy has appointed a coach for the USO. but they dont give any details.
Any truth in this?

Actually, it says that Andy has decided to appoint a coach, not that he has appointed one..

Having re-read this OSS, you're right. I guess they are just spicing up their report wtih tittle-tackle.
We'll just have to hold our breath and wait.

I can't find anything else on this so I'm guessing it could simply be a reference to either Cahill or Groeneveld, who will see him through the USO.

is andy and his team the only people not bothered by the lack of a primary coach? his performance this season has been more inconsistent compared to the past years.
i'm getting a bit worried about the upcoming us open. although he wouldn't be defending much points from that but still, a nice run would be a good way to silent the doubters.
i'm tired of seeing nole's name in every goddam final

Quite agree. And as Andy has made at least SFs of every other GS this year would be a real shame if he didn't do at least the same at USO, which is supposed to be his best surface. Just hope he does really well at Cinci to maximise his confidence going into USO. And I too find Nole's sudden dominance of the game really irxsome, especially when I think it should have been Andy had he only found the self belief that Nole did.

As three tests have now appeared OSS hope this means your problem is sorted - and you've not forsaken us for cricket [excuse the pun].

Thanks, all. At present I am not able to comment on any new threads. Old threads - yes, but with an unacceptable delay before showing. I have had these problems previously, but they were cleared up (I thought).
