http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/tennis/andymurray/7067415/Australian-Open-2010-Andy-Murray-plays-down-talk-of-Rafael-Nadals-demise.htmlNadal is quite complimentary about Andy although do pay attention to Nadal's last sentence. Extract ==================== "Playing Andy is one of the toughest matches you can have on the circuit. To beat him you have to be able to fight at every single moment and then see what happens," Nadal said. "He can play every single shot well. He serves very well. He can play defence, he can attack, he has good hands. "He uses his sliced backhand very well and he's able to change his hands very quickly to play drop shots. He has a lot of options in his game and that's a big advantage. We both have our own weapons. "The big difference between him and me is that he serves better than I do, but when I'm able to play with rhythm and intensity I can overcome him." ====================

http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/blog/2010/jan/31/andy-murray-roger-federer-australian-open"But not everyone develops at the same pace, and British athletes very often take longer to fulfil their potential. For long periods today, as Murray engaged Federer in a game of move and counter-move, it was evident that the British No1 is still evolving and has yet to glimpse the limits of his physical and tactical potential." "What he needs now is to draw the correct psychological lessons from today's chastening but far from dishonourable experience, to abandon caginess and simply play every point against Roger Federer as if it might be his last." ====================== totally agree!!!!

Yup, it's been mostly, if not all, positive press from the British it seems.

This is my favourite Times article. It sums up exactly how I feel http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/tennis/article7010338.ece

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/tennis/article7010300.eceHere is another good article giving statistics on the two players. Tellingly Federer was the agressor hitting a remarkable 45% of his shots inside his baseline. Andy was much more passive hitting only 29% in the first set and 32% in the second set inside the baseline. The 1st serve percentage was only 57% for Andy whilst 66% for Roger. Andy was able to compete in the 3rd set thanks to 60% first serve percentage which included 8 aces.
