what video fp?
just been catching up after a few days away.  I read the Indie piece while away and thought it was helpful in understanding where Andy and his game are at at present.  I was surprised he said he was so tired by the end of the training block as his face looked so much more relaxed and fresher when playing.  Perhaps it is more because he's playing without back pain rather than because had time out from the game.
I thought the Harman article was spot on in reducing expectations - and also taking pressure off Andy to play DC.  No Boogerish glea but just a sober assessment of what is realistic right now. It's very much what I'm feeling.  I'm not getting in the least bit excited about AO.  I'll watch what I can as I enjoy watching tennis but I really don't expect Andy to get very far.  I can see why he wouldn't take a WC for Auckland as I think the weather would be much cooler there and that's not good for the back or for AO preparation (as well as the extra travel as has been pointed out).  But I had wondered whether he might not seek a WC for Sydney.  He himself has said he'd hoped to play more proper matches so it might have made sense even though he usually avoids playing a tournament the week before a slam.

Bit disappointed I'll completely miss Queens this year (+ 2nd week of RG).  Still, not complaining - 3 weeks in California/Nevada/Arizona!!!!!  Back for the big one starting 23rd June.

If you are going to Las Vegas, lock your money away. Too many gambling temptations.

I have done that trip with Titan. It was great.

Have a fabulous time

Fair enough - but Andy's priority, as he says, is to get himself 100% fit again.  If he can do that then the Slams will hopefully come.  Interesting that winning Slams is more important to him than becoming #1.

It's just so sad to think that struggled for so long with pain, but it makes all his recent achievements all the more incredible.  I love that guy. Heart

thanks Angie.  Enjoyed the interview.  He's been saying for some time that it's slams rather than #1 ranking that motivate him and it must be sensible to concentrate on getting back to full health first.
I love the pictures of him hugging the W trophy as if he never wants to let it go. And his eyes looked beautiful as the background brought out their colour  wub
