Andy posted his Q&A answers on his blog a couple of minutes ago.

What I found fascinating was:

Quote
"If you and Jamie had to play a tie-break against each other with you playing lefty and Jamie playing righty, who would win and why?"

(Andy) Me. I actually played double handed on both sides before playing righty, and I reckon that's key. Jamie plays golf righty, but I'm still saying me for sure haha.

MURRAY MAKES MAIDEN TRIP TO MEYDAN RACECOURSE , Dubai ..

Andy Murray, who is the third seed for the Men's Open at the Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships next week, enjoyed his first visit to the races in Dubai on Friday evening.

The Scot, currently No. 3 in the South African Airways 2010 ATP Rankings, visited the recently-opened spectacular Meydan Racecourse in Dubai for the ultimate horse racing experience.

Murray, aged 22, enjoyed a tour of the new venue — the new home of the Dubai World Cup — and met with jockey Kieren Fallon in the Parade Ring immediately following the third race of the evening.

Last month's Australian Open finalist also met with Meydan dignitaries Saeed Mohd Al Mutawa – Public Relations Manager, and Mohammed Abdulla Al Hathboor – Project Development Manager for the course.

Thanks Sylvie.

The sentence "The Scot, currently No. 3 in the South African Airways 2010 ATP Rankings" is slightly inaccurate.

Andy is currently 4th in the ranking with 7300 points and Nadal on 7370 points.   I expect Andy to get to at least the semi final (180 points) next week to overtake Nadal though to regain 3rd place. If Nadal is defending any point then it will make Andy job even easier.

Courage isn't absence of fear but mastery of it.

I'd noticed that discrepancy too, so thanks for clarification re ranking points should Andy make the semis.

Suite life for pampered Murray in 7 star Dubai hotel .

Andy Murray is finding hours of entertainment off the court at the Barclays Championships as he discovers the delights of his VIP suite at the seven-star Burj al Arab hotel in the emirate.

Murray and Novak Djokovic, the top pair in the event now that Roger Federer is out with a lung infection, are allotted dual-level suites in the luxe beachside establishment.

It's Murray's second year of star treatment in Dubai and he certainly can't get enough of it. "They treat the players really well," said the world No. 4. "Getting to stay in a hotel like this doesn't happen every week."

He described his suite as "huge."

Most intriguing is the control panel for almost all functions in the living area from lights to A/C to security. "You have a little panel thing that you can turn the lights off in the room upstairs and you can control the TVs in all of the rooms.

"When someone rings the bell there's a little camera so you can see on your pad or on the TV who's at the door."

But with his tennis duties as third seed pressing this week at the Aviation club, Murray has only limited time to enjoy the creature comforts.

"I haven't eaten in the hotel that much. I had room service the first night. I actually had a burger and fries – very healthy. But the food in there is really good, as you would expect."

I recall Andy saying that the "bedroom" was so spacious he and his team of 3 all fitted in with plenty of room to spare.

Still Scottish. I don't give a f**k what a piece of paper says. He was born and raised in Scotland. Passing a test, in my eyes, does not change your nationality.
