What sort-of amuses me about the hotel story is that so many of the articles on it are written like this is the first anyone's heard of it,but it isn't-this was basically said and confirmed a while back!

It was only ever rumoured before, so it's nice to get it confirmed and a few more details about what is planned. 

I quite like that at least some news outlets wait for official news before running with a story.  Rare these days!

I agree, and I'm glad they waited until all the facts were known.

At least we now know why the Roux brothers were visiting the place, because they were initially mentioned as prospective purchasers.

Was it really only rumoured?I definitely remember reading at least one piece that confirmed it a while back.But maybe they were just jumping the gun a bit with the "confirmation"!

Totally agree that it's nice to see a story with facts gathered first-wish it could be done more though,and not just with stories about hotels being bought and such like!So many stories-especially the bigger news stories-end up being such a mess of details that are released without any kind of confirmation,and it can be hard to know what's true and what's not at times!

I think it was a case of a rumour being a 99% certainty, but there was nothing coming from Andy himself until now.

I only once went to an ice hockey match.  I remember it was the Fife Flyers in Kirkcaldy and I spent most of the time trying to get warm. 

I played ordinary hockey at school (and hated it), but I take it the rules are pretty much the same?
