Some interesting and entertaining thoughts here.

Murray Buys Luxury Hotel
It became official today that Andy Murray purchased a £1.8 million luxury hotel, Cromlix House, the same place where his brother Jamie got married three years ago. The hotel is close to his hometown of Dunblane in Stirlingshire. News reports Murray plans to transform the Victorian mansion into a five-star venue. With that in mind, I came up with some name suggestions:
- Le Murray Meridien
- Jumurrah
- The Grand Murray
- Waldorf Murrstoria
- Murray Abbey
- The Best Exotic Murraygold Hotel (@scotty2smithy)
- Fourth Seeding Inn (@chicoharris)
- Motel 6 Love (@skellykpsi)
And it’s not just the name that needs to be carefully chosen. Andy has some five-star tourism opportunities at hand, for, what I like to call “The Murray Experience.” These include:
- The Murray Museum of Hairstyles
- Excursions to his Dunblane Golden mailbox
- A meet-and-greet with his pups, Maggie May and Rusty
- An exhibit of paintings, by his talented girlfriend, Kim Sears
- Dessert tastings, all items carefully chosen by his mum, Judy
- A Playstation room, for guests to play Playstation all the time
- Tennis lessons, obviously

It looks a great place for a Murder Mystery Night/Weekend.
Love the light-hearted banter about it. I doubt he'll want it to become an alternative venue for Glaswegian Hen Parties! - but I hope it's not going to be too 'exclusive'. I'd love to go.
Don't know if they're still there but there were clips on youtube - there was one of up the drive to the main building through the woodland etc (it looked great!) and of various weddings etc held there (if like me, you want to have a nosey on what it looked like inside).
Whatever he does, I hope it's a success for Andy.

Well done Andy for investing in his local community. I heard it will create 40 local jobs. A 5 star hotel with tennis academy in the grounds would be a good attraction. I wish it every succsess.

It probably is haunted - but they could make that one of the attractions.
No self-respecting ghost is going to get chased away anyway just because it's been completely renovated.
Edinburgh's poshest hotel, the Balmoral, still boasts of a grey lady who stalks the corridors terrifying guests despite the interior having been extensively refurbished some years back. She was even seen by workmen whilst the renovation was being carried out.
Some ghosts are harmless and I agree that the idea of this mansion being haunted can be an attraction itself. I’d personally love to see one but only when I am completely protected. There might just be one or two ghosts still living there who knows. It does have the look and feel to it and some people are just too attached to this realm, so the possibilities are more than likely.
As to renovation, it’s now Kim’s golden opportunity to showcase some of her paintings.

It would be great if we did have a convention over a weekend I would love that. It's not to far for me (being selfish) I would really like to meet everyone.

Andy has said he's struggled in the past with going straight from Dubai to IW - courts play completely differently and he gets less time to prepare and re-acclimatise.
So this year he's instead decided to have a long training stint in the US so he's better prepared for the two US Masters (and doesn't need to re-acclimatise), which, let's be honest, are far more important than Dubai.
Makes sense to me, just a shame he didn't play Memphis or Delray so he's not completely cold, but I have faith in Ivan and Andy. They know what they're doing.
