I'd like to be impartial, but I can't!

She's a very average presenter with a very average knowledge of the game.  Surely Sky could get someone better.

When Annabel said that, Andy DID need more points to qualify. He now has them!

I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

She also has the humour and personality of Nadal's racket. Which makes her perfect for Eurosport - the channel without a personality.

At least she is not so against Andy since his win at Wimbledon. I cannot stand Virginia Wade she is a right old crow who is full of her own self importance.

Indeed they could. Trouble is, some clever clogs will then go completely mad and make her head of the LTA Smile.

Didn't he qualify by winning his third round match at the USO, or has my brain invented that?

Cheers, Ang.

I'm thinking there's going to be a lot less Fed-Fanatics this time around, and a lot more Andy-Appreciators.

So wish I was there with you.  It's going to be absolutely brilliant!!

Same here.   I think there is a decent chance Roger will qualify, which would be good for the event, but the chance he might not could put a few of them off buying tickets too early, which would be good for all of the other players, and me.

Didn't he qualify by winning his third round match at the USO, or has my brain invented that?
I think so, although in practical terms, the cut-off level for points had dropped below his actual points before then.   The eventual cut-off point for points lowers during the year, and stays artificially high to allow for the theoretical possibility that the current numbers 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 might go on a tear and win all of the points while the higher ranked players earn none.   They only seem to recalculate the cut-off point after tournaments are complete.

Right now, Ferrer is 25 points short of the cut-off, but even if he earned no more points, the cut-off point will soon drop below him.
