A counter puncher like Andy always fights back.

Nole has really had enough success over the past months, let alone Fed, who has won more than one man can bear. So it is definitely Murraytime!!!

Just trying out your theory to see if Mark bites or mods me or anyone at all.

Andy to get revenge on Fed on CC, and then to avenge 2008 USO defeat. Double grandslam champion and Olympic gold medallist come Wimbledon next year??

No, if you want to see someone get modded wait until James gets on.

This'll be quite different. Hope Andy pulls out of the mixed now though. He's going to have to play best of 5 and it did seem his back was causing a bit of a problem.
Thank you Andy for proving me wrong. You believed and you did it. I'm so goddam proud of you.
This'll be Andy's. I've never seen him look so up for it. He's made up his mind for this medal and I think he wants to get Federer. Go boy - go get him!!!!

My two fave players playing an outstanding match against each other, resulting in a win for Andy.
Doesn't get much better than this.

I agree. I've not seen Andy in this frame of mind before. There's just an edge to him and I want it so much for him.

I also doubt that Murray would pull out of mixed doubles. Not even sure that's allowed considering he's obviously not injured.
He won't. That would be grossly unfair to Laura anyway. Just wishful thinking on my part. Don't want SmugFed to be the fresher of the two.
Btw I support Djokovic too but not when he's playing Andy.

Has he been modded? If so, what for?

Wait, you lot are expecting him to win? Seems a low probability event.
Hello, boogers. How are you today?

What great news, for british tennis. Andy is on a mission and he will get there. We have not won a medal for 100 years. he will now do it. what a boost for his confidence in winning a Grand Salem he beat Nole tonight. Wonderful. He will get his Salem. Lendl has done a great job.

Me too. Even when he looked like he was falling apart at bit at the start of the second set he got a firm grip on himself. Thank you Andy. Thank you Lendl.

No point in trying to explain to most people on the forum that you can like/feel for two players at the same time. It's apparently a foreign concept.
But yes, I feel bad for Nole. It's not like he didn't try his best.
Awe now, now Tennis girl. We understand and feel too but this victory for Andy has been a long time coming.
It was overdue in fact, so we prefer to walllow in HIS glory at this moment in time.
I mean, its not like Nole hasnt won a slam, like Andy, Ferrer or Tsonga. He's doing all right!
