I never thought I'd get this excited about an Olympic tennis match(es).

It's not a GS final but it's still going to be bloody exciting!

I'd like to be impartial, but I can't!

Annabel Croft : "I feel he (Murray) is the finest best-of-three sets player in the sport".

Nice to hear but I'm not sure I agree with it..

Sorry, should have made myself clear.  Swiss fans are one thing, the British Fed fans who will probably be supporting him regardless are quite another, and I'm well aware that Fed has always had big support in the UK.

Hope BBC1 show Andy as a main feature tommorow- he really deserves it!
According to my TV guide the tennis is scheduled for BBC3.

There's so little in it as any of them can beat any of them on their day. I would say Nole is more consistent though and Federer the best at beating everyone else (outside the top four). And Rafa is obviously the best on clay.

As TG says, irrelevant anyway.

Is that an old or updated guide?

Surely a gold medal match against Federer will be shown on BBC1?

I doubt it. It's not like Wimbledon, it's not the only thing on this time around. And tennis isn't rated that highly as an Olympic sport.

In any case BBC1 is more a round-up channel and they switch to whatever the big thing is at that time. Normally cycling, rowing or athletics.

Just the usual mag I get, but TMH is right - BBC1 hop around from sport to sport and any tennis is likely to be shown for only a brief spell if at all.

I think you're wrong. Every GB gold medal attempt has been shown on BBC1. They might not show it all but I think a lot of it will be shown.

Also, the rowing has finished and the cycling and athletics are later.

Watching the medals ceremony just now I was already getting tears in my eyes at the thought of a medal being put round Andy's neck.  Lord knows what I'll be like tomorrow and in public too  w00t

Can I volunteer my services to come and hold the tissues for you? Pretty please?

No, seriously, I know when he is on that podium, wherever he is, I will bawl my eyes out lol.
