Touch the sky - and touch it he did.

Venus is currently gubbing my Canuck Wozniak, so Andy shouldn't be too much longer. My other Canuck (Raonic) is down 1st set to Tsonga. Not a Canadian day, eh? Time for a Brit one! Well Raonic has broken jw in 2nd set but must admit I'm cheering for jw as prefer him and his tennis.

Not so fast. Play suspended Raonic/Tsonga match due to rain, so I guess they will put the roof on CC.

Andy Murray - Olympic and USO champion! :)

That's not good timing! Should make the atmosphere for Andy's match even better though.

Well at least it rained before Andy started, better a delay in starting than a rain delay in the middle of match

If they're shutting the roof play won't start for about another half hour or so,

I'm going to use this delay to go grab some lunch.

Here's hoping for a straightforward win today, Niemenin is a tidy enough player but if Andy plays like he did in the last round I expect something like a 6-4, 6-3 victory here. I would love to see Andy involved when the medals are handed out, it would be a great boost for him and Centre Court would be electric for the semis and finals day. C'mon Andy!!!!!!!!!!!!

The UK doesn't have seasons any more. It's all merged into one wet blur.
