Olympics 2012 R3: Murray vs Baghdatis

Quote

Look was a great performance by Roger with a little help from Stan to win gold 4 years ago realistically Roger is here to win the singles! Fedrinka were never likely to win the doubles this time as long as Roger remained in the singles draw!

Same here. I'm in Thailand where the only Olympic sports that are shown are Badminton and Weightlifting - possibly the dullest sport.

Oh, that's not good.  We do have several more channels.

Oh I'm lying!  I've just found some tennis on tv.  Says it was on since 11 pm.  I swear it wasn't there when I looked earlier fainting

Clearly a lot of people the fact that there were several posts on the Roger doubles match today before mine!

Oh no!  I'm guessing it will have been Stan's fault Whistle
Well of course, no way Mr Frauderer would have played badly.....  I am sure Roger let Stan know it too.

Well, the things one misses whilst the cleaners are doing my housework lol. Thank God they were gone in time for Murray/Baghdatis!

I feel sorry for Stan, I can't help but like him. He reminds me a bit of Baggy in the sense that I always feel like giving him a cuddle - especially when Andy beats him - but Fed.....no such sympathy. It's bound to be Stan's fault.

Interested that he lost, couldn't give a hoot about the rest, honestly.

And my remark was to that particular post.

Thought they might be.  Rules are that if a player has played a 3-setter the rest period should be 90 mins, although still up to the player involved.

This could get interesting though.  Wonder if Andy'll pull out?  Then Hutchins/Watson could play.  Dunno, really.
An interesting scenario.

Excellent win. He showed his abilities at coming back after losing a set. If only he had the same success after dropping a set to Messrs 1,2 and 3 in the rankings.
