Interesting. I do think if he wins a Slam, it will unlock something in him that will lead to more.

Interesting no one beleives Andy would but 50% of us would (including me).

Bank one now.

A slam is now looking highly unlikely. The pressure and the level of competition are just way too much.

One slam would open the flood gates - confidence is what makes Andy tick, one slam, confidence surge = further success!!!!

Being honest as much as I would love him to win one I can't see it happening soon.

Any chance we could pop this on the main index page poll Mark?

I think once Andy gets one, there will be more to follow, he has just got to get over that first hurdle.

What a stupid poll - it's absolutely worthless. It can never be tested or validated. What will happen will happen. The guy just has to keep wanting to win a slam and believing in himself.

Awww! You mean the outcome doesn't have any bearing on what happens in real life? Damn! Thanks for your input though  clap

No bearing - and no relevance I'm afraid. I suppose it might tell something about the mindset of some Andy fans, but even that's questionable. Rolling Eyes

I agree, the block is mental which affects his game. He has the talent - can he ever find the mental stability and consistancy? I don't know the answer to this and I haven't voted. With the first slam would come a different Andy, more confident, and more consistant and oh how I wish this for him as I know it is what he himself wants - or at least he has said so. Something has to change, whether Lendl will help him achieve it, I don't know. Good luck Andy, I will always be chering you on.

I think Murray is and always will be an enigma. He'll lose matches we expect him to win and win matches we expect him to lose. He'll probably win a slam when we've all given up on him.
