Paris Masters R2: Murray vs Chardy

Quote

Not much to say about this really.  Both players are aged 24.  Chardy has won 1 ATP title and is currently ranked No. 110.  Their H2H is 3-0 to Murray, all their matches having been played on hard courts.

Seems a bit of confusion has crept in here, so for the avoidance of doubt Andy will be on after the Ferrer/Mahut match which is scheduled for 9:30 am GMT, so we could be talking 11:00 am GMT unless Mahut puts up a good fight, which he might well do on home territory.

Come to think of it Chardy might do the same, but hopefully a morning crowd will be more sparse and less vocal - although that could have the effect of spurring Andy on.

The later the better for me, I'm already 6 hours behind Paris time. zz

Let's not forget that Andy is not a morning person, but there was no alternative as he is scheduled for his doubles match later in the day.

I just hope that Andy wakes up quickly and adds to another victory. His H2H against Chardy is 3-0?

Well at least he hasn't got a 10:30 am start (Paris time).  Surely he'll have woken up by midday, having had a chance to get in some decent practice first?  Also he's said that as a result of his new diet (if he's still on it) he wakes up feeling a lot fresher than he used to.  Fortunately his doubles match probably won't start until late afternoon.

Ok Andy.......Here we go again! Whilst we never take anything for granted, we know you're more, much more than capable of beating this guy! He has never beaten you in any of your matches and he won't this time! I just hope you can put him out of his misery quickly, so you'll have time for a bit of a rest before your doubles! Good luck Andy! Are you ready? 'Course you are! Go get'em son! C'MON! cmon yeah

Come on Andy, listen to your Aunty Caz, and get through this match quickly. Get your serve, forehand and backhand firing and your confidence flying high....he can't beat you. Your aura should be enough to stop your opponent from thinking he stands a chance in this match. superman
