Nice break for Murray, though somewhat gifted to him.

Chardy has stepped it up a bit, and Murray is going through a small dip. Should be interesting to see how both react to that break of serve.

Chardy putting up a bit of a belated fight.  Takes Andy to a couple of deuces with some nice tennis.  Andy finally takes control to serve out and go 5-3 up.

And that's it:  6-2 6-4.  Rarely out of first gear to be honest, although Chardy did put up a bit of a fight in the second.

Next up is Roddick. AR isn't what he was, but he's still a dangerous player.  I am reassured by remembering how Andy took him apart at Queens this summer.  I don't think I've ever seen Roddick so outplayed.  AR will be remembering it too!
