I didn't see the back incident but the comms said last night that Andy had said it was fine as soon as the physio had had a go during his injury time out in the SFs. So let's hope it was just a tweak or one off spasm Caz.
I don't think Andy would have carried on playing if his back had really been troublesome, and I'm sure Colin wouldn't have wanted him to either. Andy said his back was feeling a bit 'tight' but was fine after the physio loosened things up a bit, so I think it was probably just a precautionary move on his part. No doubt though had certain persons been able to watch the match the Drama Queen nonsense might have started again! From the way he was running and leaping around in the final, I don't think there's anything to worry about, and he was serving well too.
^ Yes, I had been worrying about Andy's back, but I think he must be ok, because he looks so happy and relaxed on that video you posted this morning Ruthie! He looks different at age 10 though.......probably because his hair colour is so light!
Andy was going through his 'blonde' phase at that time - straight out of a bottle!
Really cute pics. I love seeing pics of the players when they were young, although I have to say Fed looked just about as smug then as he does now. Maybe he was born that way. lol
Glad to see Andy safely in Cincy. I bet he couldn't get onto the practice court fast enough. I can't remember now which tournament it was, and it wasn't this year, but wherever, Andy went straight from the airport to the tennis courts to start practising.
