Brilliant! Mind you the best I ever saw from Djokovic was in the final of last year's USO when, instead of smashing his racquet, he just stood with it on the baseline and, with the handle in his hand, ground it onto the court until the head was completely squashed. And yes, he did get a code violation. Also if players damage the court surface with their racquet antics they have to pay for repairs, although the cost will be a flea-bite to them.
I suspect many more racquets are going to be sacrificed to this rivalry -on both sides.
It'll keep the manufacturers in employment.
Actually I don't remember Andy as being a racquet smasher but I'd much prefer he did this than what he used to do, i.e. hit himself on the knuckles until he drew blood.
