Yes I am sure a lot of us on MW have shed tears for Andy. Tears when he has lost finals of his previous Grand Slams. Then tears of joy when he won his gold and silver medals at wimbledon. Then when he won the US Open. I am sure quite a lot of us shed tears of joy for him when he won and the relief we felt for him when he won. I am sure he will continue to win Slams in the future but the first is always special and will not be forgotten.

Wimbledon was the worst. I didn't talk to anyone for the rest of the night and cried for at least an hour. It was heart-breaking. It wasn't even that he lost, but seeing him so sad kinda did it for me. I also cried after the Olympics and USO, but those were happy tears of course. The Shanghai final was tough as well, because I expected him to win that one when he served for it... Over the years there have definitely been some other tough losses, but I think Wimbledon was definitely the most emotional for me personally.
Anyway, I love those Picture quotes. And it's kind of a nice way to relive those moments, what a great season Andy (we all) had. Definitely a roller-coaster, but that's Andy for you. I wouldn't have it any differently.
Thanks for sharing ZARFEEN.

I was on my hands & knees in the middle of my living room praying
near the end of the USO lol, my husband had abandoned me hours earlier & went to bed. Thank god we had the outcome we had waited so long for or I think would have need to book myself in for counselling.

Either because we're all nuts Zarfeen or he is very special. Perhaps it's abit of both

I absolutely love the picture quotes that have been on his Facebook recently. Thanks for posting them here too. I cried a lot at the Wimbledon final but 8 July is also the day my Grandpa died (it was actually Saturday and the ladies final that particular year) so I was an emotional wreck before the match even started!
The morning after the USO final I was a strange mixture of emotional and just plain excited.

Sounds like me Angie quite often in big matches when it's getting tense and I'm not even religious

Why does he keep making me crying??
He makes me proud to be a fan of his...
What Andy says in his first picture, very true. It was the mentality that had helped him the most than anything else. I know Janet wouldn't agree but it's a nice validation for me to what I believe and when it comes from the player directly.
Thanks Zarf for the lovely pictures.

A couple of pics from training, from Judy's twitter
80 degrees + humid on the stadium court at Key Biscayne. Miami Heat. Mr Lendl all foreign legion-ed up
pic.twitter.com/7TQA1wiu
RollerBall challenge. Closest to the far tram wins $1. And bragging rights. Mr Lendl a natural. pic.twitter.com/hOwH2RXc

Oh heck - that Wimbledon one ...
I'm still convinced Andy would have won if the roof hadn't been closed - but in a way he did himself a favour by getting a huge amount of support afterwards, and then look what happened!

Great pics, thanks. But that heat and humidity - no thanks! At least Lendl's got some sense by wearing a cap. Andy should be too.
