I am sure Andy will be aware of the dangers of being in the sun without sun screen. Scots are particularly fair skinned and he has auburn hair in the summer months. My daughter is a redhead and plasters herself with cream on the rare occasions that we have hot sunny weather.

Okay, not exactly an ideal place to ask this but since the topic came up, I've always wondered if sunscreen really helps... Think
I feel skin looks slightly oily after sometime and have not found any difference in my skin. But, that may even be because of my inconsistency in applying sunscreen...
So, does it really help? I've always changed my brands so that I could find something which I like but alas, I have completely stopped using sunscreen.

Zarfeen.. thanks for the pics and montage. What was the award for?

Also.. yes, please wear sunscreen. In this climate in the summer I wear nothing under SPF 30. And I've seen Andy slathered in sunscreen when he's been in Toronto (altho' I haven't seen him shirtless - unfortunately  Whistle- but if he slaps it on his face then I can only assume he puts it on other areas.)

He came third in sports personality of the year scotnadian........ yes only third!!! Shocking isnt it? Although he did come first in the scottish version Smile hope you had a great holiday.

Thanks Angie. I thought that was what it was for, but I've been out of the loop. I had a great holiday, thanks. I'm just sorry I've came home to such awful news in the news, and I've said something about that in the news thread.
Anyhoo.. I'll maybe post some of my pics later to hopefully spread some cheer instead. Smile

Thanks Linda. So, I'm gonna try to start applying sunscreen since my dermatologist has also recommended it for my skin..
