Some lovely pics here. Andy's looking great.
They showed a clip of his press conference on the news earlier. It annoyed me a bit because they asked him about the O.B.E. and then asked him about the possibility of a knighthood in the future. Can't they just let him enjoy now for a bit first?

Love all the new pictures guys. Thanks for brightening up my new year's day - I otherwise find it rather the dullest day of the year! Angie, I love your stalker comment. Ever since I went to Dunblane for Andy coming, my hubby ribs me about being an Andy stalker. Never mind the fact that I am 'almost' old enought to be his mum!  |

Yeah, he does look wary and defensive when the press are around. I remember seeing an interview of Andy somewhere back in 2006 where he said he hopes the press will be nicer to him than they were with Tim Henman. We all know how some were with Andy the past few years until the breakthrough in 2012. Really love it that he is making the naysayers eat their words. The kid in the pic with Andy look like little Gilles Muller! |

Many of are mums and that is why we are so protective of Andy. You can imagine how Judy must feel for him when he has had so many disappointments in his career. Now that he has finally won a GS we all like to cheer him on and I do not think you could call our age group stalkers.
