Possible coach on horizon?
« on: October 18, 2011, 05:51 PM »
The Daily Record has published the following article where Andy seems to be open to considering adding someone with experience to his team to help with Grand Slams. It is unfortunate he cannot have Darren Cahill all the time in my opinion; he seems to have helped Andy, and I feel there is mutual respect. Too bad Darren has so many other commitments.

In France several articles say that Roger Rasheed "follows Andy," or speak as he is "the protected" of this coach ...

Interesting article in which Andy talks about himself, as well as coaching issues.
Also if u play the winning video, u'll hear Konic talking about Andy "waving his wand" again...lol

Courage isn't absence of fear but mastery of it.

Sorry BBH couldn't find the video - but both that article and the one in the Daily Record really are speculation regarding a new coach. Also these are the same old, same old, words we've been hearing from Andy about finding "Mr Right" since he parted company with Maclagan 15 months ago and a subject which has already been thoroughly discussed on this forum.
Maybe Andy's improved mindset might make a difference to him actually taking some action now rather than just talking about it, but I'm afraid that I'll only believe it when we hear something concrete from Andy himself.
