watching the queens final from 2 years ago shows how it can be in Queens without all the hooray henrys.  I was lucky to be able to take the opportunity of a £10 ticket after it was rained off on Sunday and the atmosphere was great.  If it wasn't for the charity match I'd say it would be to Andy's advantage to have the final played on Monday (if he should get to it of course and although I voted Andy in 3 I'm not making any assumptions)

Yeah that sounds good to me, don't know how it works though, i assume if they have to play the semis tomorrow plus the charity match plus the final then they would? (weather permitting) if so that's a very busy day potentially in store for Andy.

Courage doesn't always roar - but wins Wimbledon

I've always thought the crowd were brilliant for Andy at the beginning of the Wimbledon final. They were great towards the end too, when it was becoming obvious that Federer was winning. The way they chanted Andy's name during and after the presentation ceremony (I didn't watch the re-run just now, just couldn't do it) was incredible. I've never heard a Wimbledon crowd do that for any runner-up. It was really quite moving. It made Federer respond by dragging his kids out of nowhere.

The problem with the crowd was all that part in the middle. When they could have lifted Andy at the start of the third set, they went quiet on him. He was doing everything he physically could, yet you would haver thought he was doing it in an empty stadium. Whether the crowd was anxious or what, I don't know, but if that had been a US Open crowd they would have tried to cheer the man who was down, to try to lift him.

It will be interesting to see how the crowds are with Andy this year.

Oh why BBC why, damn that missed forehand by Andy which would have made it 15-40 on Fed's serve at 4-2, i really don't know to this day how he missed that, and i certainly don't need reminding of it grrr

I actually came on to mention the weather. Can one of you give me a yell if there is any tennis today please? I've just turned the TV off for a bit. It's belting down with rain at Queen's, so I just got fed up with them going on and on, so if one of you could let me know if it ever does stop raining it will be great.

I think the final and charity match will be on Monday now, I really do. I just don't think the tournament organiser, who does seem to be intelligent, will expect the players to play a semi and a final on the same day, unless it really can't be helped. If they move the final it makes sense, at least to me, to have the charity match on Monday as well. It would give the crowd more to see, and it will probably be fun.

You'd probably get a livelier crowd in on Monday, which would be good for Andy if he can make the final. Our boy does seem to love an audience Smile.

The rain has stopped here now and the sun is out, so I think it'll stop in London before too long! Hope so anyway!

Red button for #queens tennis in a few minutes. Cilic/Hewitt first then Murray/Tsonga. If the rain holds off. http://t.co/A7Yq5rWu30

They said something about the red button but I cannot find it.  The hourly forecast is to be dry from now until tomorrow but cloudy.  Can we believe them!!

Very frustrating but at least I'm all caught up with housework - house should be very appreciative and enjoy it while it lasts! Next weekend I am away for the Champions event in Edinburgh then the following weekend am at Wimbledon. Not gonna be a lot of cleaning/tidying going on in next 3 weeks!
