No introduction required really except to say that their H2H is 7-1 to Murray, with Murray winning their last six matches including the 2011 Queens final.

The match is 2nd on court, with play starting at 1:15pm.

This will be a good match practice going into Wimbledon regardless of the outcome.

Andy will need to be focused. Jo is good on the grass. However, Jo seems scared to death of playing Andy, so......

It should be a good match. I love watching them play each other and they are both lovely, which has nothing to do with anything, but it's true.

Jo said, in his interview that his last loss to Andy still sits in his throat. whack He's going to do his utmost to win, it'll be a battle, for sure.  Sword fight

I fancy Hewitt to be the other finalist. He's playing brilliant and should beat Cilic.

Thanks for the correction.  I hadn't noticed their first match was a Challenger!

I love Andy/Jo matches - the contrast in styles makes their matches very watchable. It'll probably be a tough match but Andy knows what he has to do to beat Jo on grass courts. If he returns well then I think he'll win again tomorrow.

I presume he's referring to his loss here in 2011 rather than at the O2 last year?

Fortunately Andy usually does stay focused when playing the top players because he knows he can't afford not to.  Also he doesn't have time to get 'bored' and let his attention wander.

I admit that Jo is my second fave player, but I'll still be backing Andy.

Much as I love Tsonga, I think that Andy owns him, and he knows it. Still, I'm hoping that Andy's soft spot for the guy does not extend to more than a third set, preferably without a tiebreak!

He might mean the O2. Andy did rather wipe the floor with him. On the other hand he might mean 2011 at Queen's. Jo, bless him, remembers it as him having match points in the second set, but he didn't.

Jo and Andy's grass H2H is very much 'facelifted'. The numbers are deceiving. None of their previous 3 encounters were in straight sets. Wimbledon 2010, was by far their closest meeting, Tsonga owned Murray in the first set and a half and it was only until Murray could sense an opportunity that he broke through. None the less, the mental side of the head-to-head on grass is with Andy himself.
