You do realise that wind can make it tricky for the players?

The result will show that Andy won the last point of the match which is the only stat that matters.

Saying that Jo really had a brain fade in the 3rd set.

Well, having watched Andy for years, I'm sure we can all appreciate brain fades!  Very Happy

Of course, wind is awful to play in, personal experience too.

But, both were making errors that were not at all influenced by the wind. Such as Murray missing a shot that bounced a foot in front of the net with enough height and space to hit a winner, yet he bunted it into the net.

Had to leave for dinner, and then he started playing well.

Brilliant win, was right on the cusp of defeat at 3-3, BP. Tsonga only won 2 more games after that, having held serve the first 8 times in a row.

Indeed, but it's hard to miss such a shot.

I thought the quality of the match was superb given the conditions. There were a few amazing points played today.

@NeilHarmanTimes You probably paid for them to be on centre court

It's a pity Andy doesn't have your experience...

Disagree match was "awful." As Big Nose says conditions were shocking and they'd been hanging around for hours. It was clear that Jo settled quicker than Andy too.
But during the second set when they were both playing well, there was some terrific shot making.
Andy's made of steel these days, am glad to say.
