Good posting!
Ta, Elly

Andy's champ qualities can be the only reason that, despite Tsonga being a great player, and their matches always being close, the H2H is a massive 8-1 !

I didn't see the whole match, but my brother was texting me saying how JW was on fire early on. Yeah, I don't think Andy lets his head drop these days - he remains calm and digs.  That's definitely the sign of a person with massive self-belief.  Wishing him well tomorrow, and of course for Wimbly!  cmon yeah

I'd like to be impartial, but I can't!

So often in tight matches, one player digs deeper, while the other's level drops. Champ Murray seems to have learned how to make sure he's the one digging. I thought this was a great win. There were errors, certainly, but also great shot making and tenacity. I really enjoyed this Murraycoaster ! I also think the match was a great warm-up for Wimby - we're looking good !
Well said sidtypical and TJ , Andy really is looking good .

I think eurosport said they'd be showing highlights later dani, if you get eurosport.  When both were on fire it was quite a match. And tbh I didn't think Andy would win after the first set but once again he turned it round and was playing some wonderful aggressive tennis to do so.

Disagree match was "awful." As Big Nose says conditions were shocking and they'd been hanging around for hours. It was clear that Jo settled quicker than Andy too.
But during the second set when they were both playing well, there was some terrific shot making.

Andy's made of steel these days, am glad to say.

I agree - missed first set and start of second. What i did see was very encouraging. Two great players honing their grasscourt skills.Yes there were some errors but they could be due to conditions and desire too win. Some glorious shot making reminiscent of Olympic final.Think both men are tuning their grass game nicely ahead of Wimbledon. Looking forward to tomorrow.
