To be precise, he has to win Miami AND hope that Nadal does not reach the semis, to keep 3rd place after Miami.

QF i say, i don't see him improving so much on his clay performance, equaling last year's performance would be good enough. But I do think he might, just might be able to get the SF.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he played a hum-dinger of a tournie....and dumbfounded us all regarding his clay court play! He seemed to quite enjoy it last year. With Alex Corretja back on board again this year (hopefully) and a reasonable draw, who can say? I know it's a totally different ball game but honestly believe that he has the game for it. Maybe the different tactics he will have to focus on will be the little boost he needs to lift him out of his current malaise.
Let's not forget he did get to the Semis in Monte Carlo and the Quarters in both Madrid and the French Not saying he can/will win it..... though I can see him to a semi or the final though. Now that would really put the cat amongst the pigeons!

Roddick will be a QF seed and 2 of his seeded potential R16 match ups at the moment aren't world beaters on Clay either which means there's potentially an easy draw out there for whoever's in the top 4. Aside from that the fact there's a half decent chance Nadal will be ranked 5th coming into the tournament makes pre draw predictions even more frivolous than usual.

I think Murray will do well at Miami. It wouldn't surprise me if he wins it! He enjoys playing there and after last week, has something to prove and points to protect. No problem with incentive!

He must play Monte Carlo if he wants to remain in the top 4.
