Yes, JJ also has his drop shot which he uses like serve and volley: first the opponent is driven miles behind the baseline by a monster serve, then JJ comes up with a ball short behind the net. Point for him. And this goes on and on and I am bored to death and frustrated when these guys play against real tennis players.

Lol you clearly do nor watch him at all.

I don't remember Rosol spitting during that match, but if he did, well remembered.

It was hard to forget.
I'm not overly borrowed by spitting (although it looked disrespectful there at the All England Club) but it seemed odd and very psychological, like a nervous tick. Understandable really considering what he pulled off.
Anyway both players are simply not that interesting.
Dimitrov is fed lite but at least he has some good moves
Like Nishikori too.

I'm the opposite to you, I like the Janowicz's and Rosol's of the game, whereas I don't take to Dimitrov and Nishikori that much, maybe its because I'm more a fan of raw power game that Rosol and Janowicz so obviously possess.

This is for the glass half empty muppets who like to put me off visiting this great forum.

Good things coming up. I have my fingers crossed he plays Nadal.

And Andy does?
I do think Andy has the raw power but chooses not to use it very oftern.
It took 8 ******* years before he would finally belt his FH
And the 2nd serve is still strictly WTA.
The non Serena kind!

Er, yes. Since then he's risen from #100 in the world to a career high of #33, winning his first main tour title on the way. Once the points dropped off late last year he still maintained a ranking inside the top 50 and is now #47. A very powerful player and has the type of game that usually troubles Andy.

Andy should be able to see him off but given his current form you can't really guarantee anything right now. Rosol is certainly capable of causing him more than a few problems if he's on his game.

I stand corrected. I didn't know because I haven't heard him mentioned for a while.

I only do match threads, I expected someone else to start an Indian Wells thread, seems not.

Oh, it appears there may have been a misunderstanding here, the 'this is war' quote was referring to the toughness of the draw at hand, not the fact that I was going to battle someone to create a thread, haha.
