Gnome, I have re-arranged your list to sort by fewest defeats. More appropriate to current situation as to who is likely to win a tournament perhaps?
Maybe Stan should be on your list? His W/L is 15-2 - not bad!

Looking at this year's results, I see Djoko (2690 points) and Nadal are up to 1 & 2 in the race rankings after Miami, pushing Stan and Fed to 3 & 4. Berdy not far behind on 2045.

Then the next group all very close
6. Dolgopolov 1130
7. Ferrer        1080
8. Nishikori   1025
9. Dimitrov   1015
10. Cilic        1010
11. Murray   1000
12. Fognini   930

Nishi, Andy, Fognini playing DC this weekend would gain 65 points per win in live rubber. So Andy could be back in the top 8, even if only until Monte Carlo.
I think Dolgo must have played every week this year, with 9 tournaments already!

Edit - Nishi not playing DC, still out with injury.

@Elena
Read something about Dolgopolov saying he was exhausted, couldn't wait to get off court in Miami and wanted "time out."
Hope he's not getting ill again.

Not surprising if he's exhausted - he's played a lot of tennis, and had some big wins. He's down for MC then Barcelona - so not much time off.

Elena,

You are quite right to add Stan. I did not think of him as I was just rewriting the list order by losses.

Dolgo does really go for it in every match now so not surprised that he is tired. Nice to see someone try hard with a smile most of the time. He enjoys it so that is why he plays so much?

He said in an interview that he had entered too many tournies because he didn't think he would go so far in them and ended up playing too much.

How nice to do so well that he played more matches than expected.

I doubt Andy will play anything other than DC in April. It's a shame he won't be playing Monte Carlo but maybe it's a wise decision in the long run as most of the other top players aren't even involved in DC right now.

I believe Federer is also skipping MC?

Maybe it will all depend on what transpires over the weekend. If Andy is involved in some nice quick 3 setters he may be inclined, but i doubt he will be interested if he ends up playing some marathon matches.

ooh didn't realise DC counted towards the race.  That's good news as don't like him being outside the top 8 even if 02 is months and months away

Do the DC POINTs only count for race to London or do they get added to his current ATP total too? If so, when?

Both - they should be added tomorrow when the rankings are updated. He'll be 8th in both I think
