He beat some poor wildcard! That's no measure of his form.

I know, I know, I've risen, but honestly BN!

There is going to be one winner of Wimbledon. Take it from me, he won't answer to the name of Federer.

Yes TJ, I'm 99% sure Fed is not gonna be winning Wimby.

What date is the draw for Wimbledon? Is it saturday. Andy could have a clear route to the final if he avoids Rafa's quarter and gets Ferrer in the semi-finals. Whoever manages to win the other half will be knackered and it will be easy pickings for Andy to win his forst wimbledon. Alternatively he could get Rafa in the QFs and Fed in the semis, then Joker in the final. So the draw is going to be key this year, much more so than other years.

Id love to see Rosol v Rafa as a first or 2nd round draw. Rafa will be vulnerable the 1st week and hopefully he's going to coome up against a big serving grass courters. Someone like Rosol or Karlovic would be perfect.

The draw for Wimbledon is usually quite late. The Wednesday or Thursday before it starts rings a bell.

Just been live rankings and it says that Andy is on 8310.  Went to Official rankings and he is on 8560 and that next week he will be on 8310.  I am very confused because he is surely on 8560 as of yesterday.  Can someone explain?

I was wondering about that too! I think it might just be one of their Monday blips that happen from time to time. Fed's is wrong too I think.

ATP has Andy on 8560, Fed at 7740. Should be the same next week I think.

Just noticed that Fed. has dropped to 5 behind Nadal-4 and Ferrer -3. Obviously they have taken off last year's Wimby points but still looks good

tamila I think you're looking at the race rather than rankings.  Smugfed still 3rd in the rankings and has gone up to 5th in the race I think as he was in danger of falling out of top 8 at one point.

Andy's 2nd place ranking is very much on the line at Wimbledon, he needs to do well again.

The official ATP Rankings are updated / reissued every Monday.  The Live Rankings website is not official ATP and is updated daily - in preparation for Wimby starting very soon it excludes points won at last year's Wimby so Smugfed has lost 2000 points  yay

If Andy has a bad Wimby he could dop to No.4 if Nadal & Ferrer reach the Semis.

Based on live rankings Andy no.2 but Ferrer 3, Nadal 4, Federer 5 and that's how it'll be after Wimby unless the SmugOne reaches the Final

Credit to Ferrer for gatecrashing the big 4
