Said he felt sorry for Murray because the British want their first Slam winner for 100,000 years.
Way to put all the pressure on Andy. Rolling Eyes

I have to admit Federer is funny and charming and was actually really nice and competitive without being defensive when talking about Andy. Maybe after getting the French and then Wimby last year he feels secure in his himself that he has nothing to prove. Think he just hated that this young scot appeared and beat him a couple of years ago lol
Think now Andy is just accepted as another tough top player who should really bring the match too him (not a repeat of the USO please) on Sunday.
It should be a cracker! Both fairly rested having come through the tournament in confident fashion, both playing really well- hope it lives up to expectations!

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love,
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith,
Where there is despair, hope,
Where there is darkness, light,
Where there is sadness, joy.
Where there is Murray in a Slam final, watch.
Mark, Hazel's commitment here is to the other people involved in the sketch - she can't let them down or the cause the sketch is intended to help - fine and reliable friend she would turn out to be if she stayed at home and watched tennis - however big the match - but I don't really need to tell you that, cos I suspect your teasing. Wink and a kiss

I'm heart sorry for Tsonga.  He can play so much better than this.  Frown  He's going to be soooo disappointed with himself, I feel.  And... Smugerer's ego will be in overdrive for Sunday.  Frown
Oh won't it just! Do I want to watch him or not - I couldn't bear it if he won, Andy would take a confidence dip again I feel. But perhaps we're being pessimistic again - we were wrong before, let's hope we are again.

I quite liked what Federer had to say about Andy, but I think he has probably realised that there is a lot of support for Andy in the crowd he won't want to get booed for saying anything nasty, he also appeared to be really relaxed, I haven't seen him like that for awhile.
