Tatsuma/low ranking/never played before = trouble.  If this was best of three, I'd say Andy might have problems, but over a best of five he has more room to manoevre.  Also assuming he's now fit he should be able to out-last him physically.  First rounds in Slams are a nervous time for all the top players.  I'll just be happy if Andy gets this one under his belt.

Andy played Ito in the doubles in Tokyo last year though not too sure what Andy would have learned from it.

Andy is in terrible form, and looked so clueless the other day against Gulbis I have no expectations here whatsoever.  He clearly has his eye on the grass and nothing else, so a deep run would be a surprise to me.  I am looking forward to queen's and wimby, all the rest is irrelevant.

I will eat my shorts and run naked around St. Andrews with "Andy's ****" written on my ass if Andy wins....no chance though!

I hope you will take photos or video of your run round St.Andrews,  but please mark it as X rated when you post it yay Little tongue man

Yeah right ! People have made promises like this b4 and then bottled it.

Doesn't matter how this goes. Just want him fit and on form for the grass suits him more. Much more chance of success.

"My back is going to be fine," he said Friday. "I have been here about close to a week now. I have had some good practice and feel good."

Murray takes on Japan's world number 69 Tatsuma Ito in the first round and admitted he knows little about the 24-year-old who will be making his main draw debut at Roland Garros.

"I played him in doubles last year in Tokyo. I have seen his game before and hit balls against him. He's quite a flat hitter of the ball, a pretty good ball striker," said the fourth seed.
