Courage doesn't always roar - but wins Wimbledon

Cilic always does well against Andy until he lets him get in his head, when Andy tends to raise his level and Cilic seems to fold.

That quarter final at the USO in 2012 is a case in point. Andy a set and 5-1 down and not playing great. Andy's mind had clearly been elsewhere (being mucked about by the USO 'organisers' didn't help the fact they'd dumped him out on Armstrong). Cilic had a golden opportunity to put Andy out in straight sets. Then Andy lifted his game, sorted his head out, and you could hear Cilic imploding on this side of the Atlantic. After losing the second set Cilic won just two more games all match.

However, as always, a lot will depend on how each player performs on the night.

Thanks for that reminder TJ, I'll remember that if things get tough tonight.

Cilics definitely on a roll and Andy is vulnerable.  Ivanisovic has really got his man fired up. Don't think the H2H counts for much tonight. Hopefully Andy can pull through.

Similar at Queens last year as well, although Cilic wasn't quite as dominant in the opening two sets.

Well at Queens, Murray did help by falling over and having a meltdown

That's right, I'd forgotten about that.

I see no reason to expect that, but Andy should come through.

Anyhow, H2H below.

Can you guess from what year? Tis easy!

Hmm tricky....like benniebone I'd "guess" Davis Cup 2007

Thanks for the H2H and enjoy the match!

The draw got a little easier for Andy as top seed Del Potro is defeated by Gulbis 6-3 6-4.
