Is it me, or has Andy now got two blad spots on the top of his head?
Shhhh. Not allowed to talk about that! No no.

Love his curly locks.

Yeah, definitely. Wish I could afford to stay at his hotel but to be honest those lovely welcoming friendly B & Bs with their luscious breakfasts and cosy atmosphere which you find all over the highlands and islands can't be beat!
Totally agree, Jan!  I don't think I'd feel comfortable in a luxury hotel, Andy's or anyone else's.  It's just not my scene.

Scrappy at times, but I'm happy enough. Needs to work on converting his break points.

He's on his way up again,  yay yay cmon yeah cmon yeah clap clap

Agree with you, but the Comms on Sky were saying at the start that given his surgery he will be delighted with where he is at (Mark Petchy and Jamie Murray). Btw is Jamie still suffering from that match at the AO?

Elsewhere Heather Watson has just won her match. She seems to be back on track.

Good news about Heather. Smile   Andy says his aim is to gradually work his way back to full match fitness, and that that could take a wee while yet, so not surprising that he jumped at the chance to play here, although he's done a lot better than anyone expected, really.

God went on the BBC, they seem to like rubbing in the rankings.  Whistle

I was suprised by how much Andy was boiling up at himself at times today, but it's no bad thing. It shows he isn't satisfied and wants more, exactly the attitude that has earned him such success.

I think he was always going to beat ERV, but still, this was another fine step in the right direction.

Ooof! Missed tonight's match due to tennis club agm, just looked up tomorrow's schedule and will miss that match due to theatre club. What's the betting that if he's playing Friday (well I should very much hope so) its in the afternoon while I'm at work. Still, allows me to put off switching Sky Sports back on - switched off  after WTF and wasn't thinking I'd need to pay it again till Indian Wells. But money well spent for Andy!

He's upset them by wining Wimbledon - they can't patronise him anymore. They would have welcomed Henman wining he was "the right sort". Our scruffy Scot who doesn't give a toss what people think, and doesn't believe in being a plucky, polite loser is an anathema to their leftist beliefs.

I was happy to see Andy play sooner than expected a week ago. He was a bit up and down, though dominant in the end. His BP conversion was not the best and he had some moments of open frustration. I like that as it makes such a match more emotional as long as it does not make him lose control.

We may come North again this year and it won 't be hotels we'll choose. Abroad is a different matter but here we prefer those lovely B&bs. See you all tomorrow.

Good point I hadn't thought of that.

Mrs MP, on the other hand, loves a bit of luxury!

I missed the entire match, stuck at Dublin Airport trying - and failing - to get home to Glasgow.  Bloody weather!
