Interview time.. Andy we have a surprise for you. A special Olympic cake.
I couldn't believe the size of the chunk he cut for himself. Like he hadn't eaten in a month. Quite hilarious.

Time for Andy's bread-and-butter. Otherwise known as "Media Obligations."
I took this picture just as he was getting set up, but you should have seen him chow down on that chunka cake before he began his interviews. Poor guy was on Brit time.. around 10:00pm by his body-clock by then.

I stuck around, hoping to get a close-up as he came off the court, and just to say thanks, we appreciate you Andy.
We all thanked him loudly and clearly for coming.

Thanks for sharing your great day out Scotn and so glad you managed to make it ok. And great that you were all able to thank Andy for turning up. I guess that cake was partly by way of thank you from the organisers as it would have been so easy for Andy to follow some of the other top seeds and drop out. And let's just say Andy's huge chunk was his way of showing his appreciation for the gesture! Are you going again?
