It's Kim's birthday today. She turns 25.
What a pity she couldn't be there. Wonder if it was a pet name for her then coz it didn't look like Kim.

Murray actually has the 2nd best record in tie-breaks this year.
You'll never guess who he's behind.
(No checking the ATP site!)
Clue: It was someone who played against GB in Braehead earlier this year.
Muller?

Muller?
Mmmm - GB played Belgium and Slovakia this year, so it can;t be Muller. Even knowing the countries, I'm still struggling to work out the answer...

I recall seeing Dan Evans beat Lacko, so the Slovak is my guess!

Not Lacko, not Klizan. Not Muller, Haas, DelPo or Cilic either.
That leaves about four players.
He's a midget by tennis terms.

Was last year I think, when Andy triple bagelled Laurent Bram.

July 2011. I was there to witness the historic triple bagel!

Since Davis Cup has no tv coverage here, that wasn't a bad guess.

Whey.
http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Tennis/2012/10/Features/FedEx-Reliability-Current-Tiebreak-Records.aspx
"In 2012, World No. 78 Darcis has compiled the best winning percentage in tie-breaks according to the FedEx ATP Reliability Index. The Belgian has compiled a 17-4 (.809) record, but at 5’10” in height he doesn’t win a lot of free points. In 38 matches on the ATP World Tour, he has hit 143 aces"
Murray's record is 17-6, including winning all 6 TB's at the USO, with some very vital ones (9-7 vs Berdych, 12-10 vs Djokovic).

Thank god-wasn't an easy match, but he did it.That's our Andy!
I missed seeing what he wrote-how sweet if it was happy birthday!Maybe someone will post a screen-grab of it somewhere-sometimes they pop up on tumblr-and we might be able to see more clearly. What a shame that he couldn't be with Kim on her birthday though
Hope she has a nice day,and they get time to talk-and that Andy starts feeling better quick sharp!

Nice one! I have to confess that Belgian tennis doesn't penetrate my consciousness a whole lot. Isn't there a standing joke about naming three famous Belgians? Most people come up with Van Damme, Hercule Poirot and Tin Tin!
